Introduced Compliance and Assurance, a centralized framework for evaluating and reporting on identity posture and compliance — including a compliance scan engine, weighted scoring, and support for SOC 2, NIST CSF, GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, DORA, and APRA. Includes tenant-level compliance overviews, framework-based filtering, and CSV export for audit workflows.
March 18, 2026
Expanded platform coverage with support for 50+ new Okta object types, added Okta Identity Governance support within Backup and Recovery, and introduced feature flags for controlled rollout of new capabilities. Also added granular object recovery with the ability to select specific related entities and clearer recovery-planning summaries; improved rollback scope filtering with clearer visibility into impacted objects before executing a rollback; redesigned the Object Recovery page and refreshed the Tenant Investigation page; and added support for Bring Your Own HashiCorp Vault, Google Chat notifications, and Elastic ITSM integration.
September 5, 2025
Objects can now be pushed from any point in time using the Acsense Time Machine, enabling version control across Okta environments by promoting changes from historical states, not just the current one. Change promotion now also supports three modes — Create New, Link to Existing, and Link and Update — for DevOps and enterprise IAM automation; change management approvals can route through native Acsense, Jira, or ServiceNow; and the Activities tab now supports filtering by action type, tenant, user, and timeframe, with improved status visibility and direct links for cloning operations and reports.
July 17, 2025
Acsense now brings enterprise-grade change management to Okta, letting customers clone any object and its related entities from one Okta tenant to another for structured, version-controlled environment transitions. Also extended Time Machine functionality to roll back or fast-forward an entire Okta tenant to a specific point in time, for both primary and post-failover standby tenants.

Security teams are inundated with alerts—but alerts without action are just noise. Acsense’s latest release transforms alerts into powerful tools for proactive detection, faster incident response, and regulatory compliance.
This release introduces a flexible alert system that lets organizations monitor key IAM events across their environments and receive real-time notifications via common channels like email, Slack, and SIEM.
April 6, 2025
Custom Alerts are now available for all event types with finer granularity, with notifications supported via Email, SIEM, and Slack. Also extended RBAC permissions to per-tenant granularity and added Coralogix as a new supported SIEM integration.
January 14, 2025
Introduced Alerts — set up notifications for major Okta events and receive near real-time alerts via Email, SIEM, or Slack. Also added Rapid7 and Datadog SIEM support, and the ability to route all alerts to designated Slack channels.
October 9, 2024
Added a new integration providing complete data protection for Okta Workflows, with per-tenant granularity and variable backup frequency. Also restructured the Inventory page for easier navigation.
October 9, 2024
OIDC custom applications are now seamlessly recovered during Object Recovery and Tenant Recovery flows. Also, retention period can now be set per tenant during onboarding (default 450 days) and changed later under Settings > Tenants > Edit > Additional Options.
July 2, 2024
Introduced the first Recycle Bin for Okta — identify deleted objects and recover them with one click. Also added event-based tracking for Okta posture changes with Transaction ID tracing, actor identification, one-click undo, 10-minute update intervals, and infinite retention; added assignment-change tracking to speed up incident remediation; and added SIEM integration support for major vendors including Splunk.
